This essay was developed for a world literature class at Wingate University. It provides a brief etymology for terminology associated with lesbianism and a narrative of how Sappho altered the course of lesbian history.

This project was written for a class on Victorian Literature and draws connections between the most racist Sherlock Holmes stories and how the racist elements negatively affected the integrity of the mystery.

This paper discusses a history behind the origin of pederasty in Greece and how characteristics of a pederastic relationship apply to Achilles and Patroclus in Homer's The Illiad.

A brief analysis of sonnet 108 from Astrophil and Stella by Sir Philip Sidney. Sidney was one of the revolutionaries of early modern writing in England, and Astrophil and Stella is just one example of how his writing changed British literature.

In this one-time podcast episode, I discuss a brief history of fandom, a timeline of fan migrations from LiveJournal, Fanfiction.net, Fandomination.net, and the Archive of Our Own, and discuss what caused these migrations and how fans chose where to migrate to after leaving one platform.

A website designed not only to satirize the all-too familiar process of being forced to accept a Terms of Service before using a service, but also to discuss the ethical dilemmas of Respondus Lockdown Browser and the design of their TOS through rhetorical analysis.

In 2001, tragedy struck the US in the form of the most formidable terrorist attack on US soil in history. My grandfather, John Berger, was part of a small North Carolinian crew called to assist in the restoration of the Pentagon after 9/11. This project is a highly detailed rhetorical analysis of some of the photographs taken at the Pentagon during the restoration.
