This was published on FANFICED, a fan run forum which discusses many topics relating to fan spaces and fandoms. Unfortunately, the website is no longer active, so the article is only available here. This article discusses asexual representations of Sherlock Holmes in fan spaces.
No Holmes Barred was a Sherlock Holmes anthology published in 2020 by Doyle's Rotary Coffin, one of many Holmesian societies in North America. I was selected to be one of 32 contributors to the anthology, and I discuss how to write an ethical and correct depiction of asexuality in Sherlockiana.
